??where are you
ok
I will start

?I will post a poem and I want you to tell me who wrote it

Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate.
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer's lease hath all too short a date.

Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimmed;
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance, or nature's changing course untrimmed.

But thy eternal summer shall not fade
Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow'st;
Nor shall death brag thou wand'rest in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou grow'st,
So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.

I heard a story told by Dr. Moreed Al-Kullab about himself . This story happened in Ramadan . He said " After I had finished Taraweeh Prayer , I saw a bunch of my classmates playing football . I said " How poor they are ". They were actually wasting their time . I decided to advise them . I got the permission from the teacher of school activities . He asked me if I had prepared or not , I answered him No. I decided to improvise . After we finished Dohor Prayer the day after , I stood before them and I gave a long introduction and then I couldn't utter a ward . Most of them started making fun of me . I felt so frustrated that I was about to cry . I kept silent until they all left the place . When I entered the class , all my classmates sent a laughter . I hurried to my chair and hid my head in my book. Suddenly , I heard like something breaking . I had a look at the noise . I was shocked by the teacher of Arabic, Ibrahim standing before me . He asked me to stand before the class and then he raised my hand up . He said " This is the real man " . He continued saying " He was brave to stand before you . It is true that he said nothing but he made the first step to success . He added " Moreed is the best of you . for you did nothing as Moreed did . He also said . I'm quite sure that Moreed is gonna make next time . I felt so happy and self- confidant that I stood before them and I delivered a speech the day after .

Dear brother, we benefit from this story that if we want to succeed , we should think of an idea and then work on it . Having dreams is not enough to achieve our goals . We should keep into consideration that dreams and hard working are the best ways to succeed depending on Allah .

At last , I need favour from you. If you find any mistakes in grammar or there is no coherence in this topic tell me please .Also , I welcome anyone who does any adjustment to my paragraph .

Three boys are in the schoolyard bragging about their fathers. The first boy says, "My Dad scribbles a few words on a piece of paper, he calls it a poem, they give him $50."

The second boy says, "That's nothing. My Dad scribbles a few words on a piece of paper, he calls it a song, they give him $100."

The third boy says, "I got you both beat. My Dad scribbles a few words on a piece of paper, he calls it a sermon. And, it takes eight people to collect all the money!"

the secret is true love
.
.
because
some times we are lucky to have both
but still our life is not perfect
we lack to a lot of things

specially true love
so
do we give up on dreaming
or
keep on living
or
simply smile
and accept
our destiny
alot of questions and the answer is still lost

Very Funny English Story

There was a man who had worked all of his life and had
saved all of his money. He was a real miser when it came to
his money. He loved money more than just about anything

and just before he died, he said to his wife, "Now listen,
when I die, I want you to take all my money and place it in
the casket with me.
I wanna take my money to the afterlife."
So he got his wife to promise him with all her heart that
when he died, she would put all the money in the casket
with him

Well, one day he died. He was stretched out in the casket,
the wife was sitting there in black next to her closest
friend. When they finished the ceremony, just before the
undertakers got ready to close the casket, the wife said
"Wait just a minute!" she had a shoe box with her, she came
over with the box and placed it in the casket.

Then the undertakers locked the casket down and
rolled it away
Her friend said, "I hope you weren't crazy enough to put all
that money in the casket
She said, "Yes, I promised. I can't lie. I promised him that I
was going to put that money in that casket with him

"You mean to tell me you put every cent of his
money in the casket with him?"

"I sure did, " said the wife. "I got it all together, put it into
my account and I wrote to him a check
."

Gibran Khalil Gibran (aka Jubran Kahlil Jubran) was born into a Maronite Family on January 6, 1883 at Bsharri, a town near Mount Fam al-MIzab in Northern Lebanon. Gibran was born as the first child to his mother, second overall (first son named Butros), from her second marriage.
Just two years later, his first sister, Marianna was born and two years after another sister, Sultana was born. When 1888 came about, Gibran entered a small one-class village school where he learned Arabic, Syriac and Arithmetic.
In 1895, Gibran, his two sisters and Butros emigrated to Chinatown in Boston while their father, a tax collector and drunkard, stayed behind. Butros opened a small shop and began earning the families only source of income. Doing so allowed Gibran to join the local school and angelicize to Khalil Gibran.
Showing promise in drawing and painting, Gibran was introduced to the Bostonian photographer and artist Fred Holland Day. As Day was experimenting with photography as art, Gibran was photographed on several occasions, sometimes nude. Gibran was then sent back to Lebanon to further his studies at al-Hikma high school in Beirut. His studies required more learning of Arabic, French and literature.
For a short period in 1901, Gibran returned to Boston with his family. However, shortly after in 1902, while traveling to Lebanon as a translator for an American family, Gibran heard the news of his youngest sister's, Sultana, death from tuberculosis and quickly returned home to visit with his family.
The following year was no better. Gibran faced two more deaths, his half-brother Butros from tuberculosis and his mother from cancer.
In 1904, Gibran's first picture exhibition was held at Fred Holland Day's studio. This exhibition was the start of many publications which came in the following years, including al-Musiqa; which emphasizes on Arabic music and its various forms, al-Arwah al-Mutamclrrida (Spirits Rebellious); four short stories about the spirit of 'Ara is al-Muruj.
In 1908, after his publication in New York, Gibran left to Paris to study art taught by Mary Haskell. Just two years later, Gibran met Ameen Rihani, who was headed to New York City, and visited London to educate themselves by the art in the city. The two then went separate ways. Gibran then returned to Boston after spending two years and four months in Paris and traveling London

A Visit From Wisdom

In the stillness of night Wisdom came and stood
By my bed. She gazed upon me like a tender mother
And wiped away my tears, and said : 'I have heard
The cry of your spirit and I am come to comfort it.
Open your heart to me and I shall fill it with light.
Ask of me and I shall show you the way of truth.'

:Colors
White is a color of purity, innocence and cleanliness that is why brides, doctors and nurses wear white. White is also a summer color because wearing white keeps you cool and contrasts bright colors of spring and summer nicely.
Blue is a calming, relaxing color. Blue color is ideal for bedroom. When combined with green, blue exudes a natural atmosphere in a room.
Green a color that represent nature, it is a calming and refreshing color. Green is easy on the eye, and studies suggest that it may even improve vision! Green suggests prosperity and symbolizes fruitfulness.
Pink is a very gentle and innocent color that is why it is used in the decorations and room decor for little girls. Pale pink is a relaxing color making its wearers more approachable
Yellow is the color of sunshine, it has a happy, uplifting aura. However, yellow can also be the color of sadness and cowardice.
Orange is a mixture of red and yellow, so it has all the warmth and comfort of those colors. Like yellow, orange is intellectually stimulating, but also signifies warmth, energy, change, and health. Like red, orange is very stimulating, but orange (and especially peachy orange) is less aggressive and more soothing.
Red is a fiery color it represent passion and hatred. Red is a color of luck, that's why some people want red wallet and Chinese wears red clothes on special occasion. Red also represents power; thus the use of it for celebrities on the red carpet and red ties for powerful executives. It also a conversation stimulant.
Purple color represents royalty, luxury, wealth, sophistication, and spirituality.
Brown is an earth color. Shades of brown symbolize simplicity, reliability and structure, so it's an ideal shade to wear in the office.
Black absorbs light and it is the most stylish, classy, and timeless color in the world of fashion. This legendary status may be in part due to the fact that black makes people look thinner. Dramatic black is often worn by creative types, and in our commercial society, black is the color of authority and power.

We have one dog, they have 4.
We have a pool, they have rivers.
We have lanterns at night, they have stars.
We buy foods, they grow dyers.
we have walls to protect us, they have friends

Facebook Fury

It was the perfect wedding and everything
seemed to be going smoothly. “You
may now kiss the bride,” said the priest
just after marrying Stephen Barking and
Tracy Marston. But at that point, the groom
interrupted the proceedings. “Wait!” he
exclaimed as he pulled out his iPhone and
started updating his Facebook account.
Seconds later, he sent the following message
via his Twitter account, “Standing at the altar
with Tracy where just a second ago she
became my wife! Gotta go. Time to kiss my
bride.” Then, he handed his phone to his new
wife so she could update her Facebook status
from “in a relationship” to “married”.
Now, a clip of the stunt has been
posted on YouTube, where it has
become an internet hit.

Deeper than the Heart

Deeper than the Heart is Wide
Love is a newborn baby and
Love is a world full of maybes
Stranger than mirrors and smoke
Funnier than the funniest joke that you’ ever heard

Love is never ending like a
Storybook that keeps starting again
Longer than permanent
Stronger than the firmanent
Love is
Deeper than the deepest river
Taller than the highest mountain
Deeper than the heart is, wider than the ocean
Deeper than the heart is wide

Love is kisses and passion it feels
Brand new, but still kind of old-fashioned
Warmer than the warmest sweater
Sweeter than the sweetest love letter that you ever read
Love is

Deeper than the deepest river
Taller than the highest mountain
Deeper than the heart is, wider than the ocean
Deeper than the heart is wide

Love is, and that’s what I’m saying
Love is better than a metaphor
Simpler than the longest word you could say
Brighter than the start of a beautiful day
Love is

Deeper than the deepest river
Taller than the highest mountain
Deeper than the heart is, wider than the ocean
Deeper than the heart is, wider than the ocean
Deeper than the heart is, wider than the ocean

That's What Friends are For

And I never thought I'd feel this way
And as far as I'm concerned
I'm glad I got the chance to say

And if I should ever go away
Well, then close your eyes and try to feel
The way we do today
And then if you can remember

Keep smilin', keep shinin'
Knowin' you can always count on me, for sure
That's what friends are for
For good times and bad times
I'll be on your side forever more
That's what friends are for

On me, for sure
That's what friends are for
Keep smilin', keep shinin'

Well, you came and opened me
And now there's so much more I see
And so by the way I thank you

There was a boy who was always losing his temper. His father gave him a bag full of nails and said to him, “My son, I want you to hammer a nail into our garden fence every time you need to direct your anger against something and you lose your temper.”
So the son started to follow his father’s advice. On the first day he hammered in 37 nails, but getting the nails into the fence was not easy, so he started trying to control himself when he got angry. As the days went by, he was hammering in less nails, and within weeks he was able to control himself and was able to refrain from getting angry and from hammering nails. He came to his father and told him what he had achieved. His father was happy with his efforts and said to him: “But now, my son, you have to take out a nail for every day that you do not get angry.”
The son started to take out the nails for each day that he did not get angry, until there were no nails left in the fence.
He came to his father and told him what he had achieved. His father took him to the fence and said, “My son, you have done well, but look at these holes in the fence. This fence will never be the same again.” Then he added: “When you say things in a state of anger, they leave marks like these holes on the hearts of others. You can stab a person and withdraw the knife but it doesn’t matter how many times you say ‘I’m sorry,’because the wound will remain

.
they have taught me taught me
They opened my eyes to your love
And we met and they rumored about us
They have taught me about your love and blamed me
My heart melted over the happy days
How we were and the life was fine
What happened ? And the lovers have changed
They passed my door and didn't talk to meا
O longing bird, Your family has flew
around the sky and I don't know where they are
They showed me how to love and flew away
But they didn't show me how to be patient

Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high,
There's a land that I heard of
Once in a lullaby.
Somewhere over the rainbow
Skies are blue,
And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come true.

Someday I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far
Behind me.
Where troubles melt like lemon drops
Away above the chimney tops
That's where you'll find me.

Somewhere over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly.
Birds fly over the rainbow.
Why then, oh why can't I?

If happy little bluebirds fly
Beyond the rainbow
Why, oh why can't I?

A popular motivational speaker was entertaining his audience.
He Said : "The best years of my life were spent in the arms of a woman who wasn't my wife!" The audience was in silence and shock. The speaker added: "And that woman was my mother!"

Laughter and applause.
A week later, a top manager trained by the motivational speaker tried to crack this very effective joke at home. He was a bit foggy after a drink. He said loudly to his wife who was preparing dinner, "The greatest years of my life were spent in the arms of a woman who was not my wife!"

The wife went; "ah!" with shock and rage. Standing there for 20 seconds trying to recall the second half of the joke, the manager finally blurted out "....and I can't remember who she was!"

By the time the manager regained his consciousness, he was on a hospital bed nursing burns from boiling water

- Is not the colour of your skin
But the color of your character

- Is not the language that you speak

- Is not where you live
But how you live

- Is not how much you earn
But what you do to earn it

- Is not where you are
But how you got here

- Is not that you are a human being

We wake up every morning, to the same roof, same room,
drink the same kind of coffee, go to the same college,
same school, same job, with our complete health
then complain about how boring our life is.

They wake up every morning, to the same roof,
same gray hospital room, get the same shots,
same medicine, they can't go outside
so they look from their windows,
see you walking so miserable,
and they look around them and smile
because they survived one more day..

So if you're bored next time,
and complaining about how boring life is,
stop a second and think about them,
all those people fighting death, trying new treatment,
hoping that one day they can live your "boring" life.
Face your day with a smile, try to give hope
and pray for them ,try to work hard enough
to live the best day just like it's the last one..

This is an extract from Cast Up By The Sea ,a book which I recently came across in our school library
I greatly admire the language of description used here . They are so magical leaving
no details unprovided. The scene will be drawn in your mind from the first sentence
and each new sentence will add something new to that picture .Some of the words are difficult to understand but I think they are important to know . Enjoy reading

It was a sultry night in August. The day had been oppressive
it was a dead calm upon the sea, and, as the sun had sunk, a yellowish glare of haze had obscured the horizon, while long thin streaks of fleecy clouds, tinged with vermilion with the sun’s last rays, turned ominously black when the bright light faded. The swallows had been flying so low as to merely skim the ground, and the sea-gulls had been screaming in a wild manner as they followed the shoals of porpoises that chased the mackerel at the entrance of the bay. For some weeks no rain had fallen, and unusual heat had pearched the country . Such was the sunset of the 19th of August , 1971 : the sea and the atmosphere were so
mingled together that, in the dull twilight, nothing could be distinguished on the surface; but an unnatural stillness pervaded the darkening scene.
At this time a strange figure sat upon the low garden- wall that overlooked the sea, and, apparently motionless, strove to pierce the mysterious haze that shrouded the horizon. At the first sight it would have been difficult to determine the sex, but a closer examination showed it to be a female. She sat at that giddy height crouched and balanced upon the unstable wall, with her knees close to her thin and scantily-beairded chin while, to steady her position, she tightly clutched her ankles with her long and wiry hands. She wore neither shoes nor stockings..

A Little Supper Joke

An elderly gentleman of 85 feared his wife was getting hard of hearing. So one day he called her doctor to make an appointment to have her hearing checked. The Doctor made an appointment for a hearing test in two weeks, and meanwhile there's a simple informal test the husband could do to give the doctor some idea of the state of her problem.
"Here's what you do," said the doctor, "start out about 40 feet away from her, and in a normal conversational speaking tone see if she hears you. If not, go to 30 feet, then 20 feet, and so on until you get a response."
That evening, the wife is in the kitchen cooking dinner, and he's in the living room. He says to himself, "I'm about 40 feet away, let's see what happens."
Then in a normal tone he asks, "Honey, what's for supper?" No response.
So the husband moved to the other end of the room, about 30 feet from his wife and repeats, "Honey, what's for supper?" Still, no response.
Next he moves into the dining room where he is about 20 feet from his wife and asks, "Honey, what's for supper?" Again he gets no response.
So he walks up to the kitchen door, only 10 feet away. "Honey, what's for supper?" Again there is no response.
So he walks right up behind her. "Honey, what's for supper?"

THE GENERATION GAP
The world is undergoing a rapid change. That is, views,
opinions, fashion, and even traditions are changing rapidly.
The old cannot adapt themselves to these changes easily.
They always talk about good old days, and grumble about
the
young, which leads to a generation gap. Parents always
mention the problems of the young. If there is one, then, we
can say that it is the old who create it. Everyone is of the
opinion that the young are, after all, human beings-people
just like their parents. There is only one difference
between
an old man and a young man: the young man has got a
bright
future before, him and the old one has got a lot of experience
behind him.

Journey Into Autumn

Coming south, it seemed the train
Travelled faster than my watch.
It was summer in the north.
Cornfields where the wind had lain
Still were waiting to be cut,
Children trailing the afternoon's
Listlessness behind them found
The blackberries still tart. But
Here the fields bear straw-bales strapped
For winter and the stubble burns.
The boys have gone now who lounged
All summer long beside the track.
Diesels pass unwaved. The last
Down drifts from willow-herb to find
A niche for next year's purple
Flowering. Summer here is past.

The story of the Pencil

A boy was watching his grandmother write a letter.
At one point, he asked:

'Are you writing a story about what we've done? Is it a story about me?'

His grandmother stopped writing her letter and said to her grandson:

'I am writing about you, actually, but more important than the words is the Pencil I'm using.
I hope you will be like this Pencil when you grow up.'

Intrigued, the boy looked at the pencil.
It didn't seem very special.

'but it's just like any other Pencil i've ever seen!'

'that depends on how you look at things.
it has five qualities which,
if you manage to hang on to them,
will make you a person who is always at peace
with the world.

'first quality: you are capable of great things,
but you must never forget that there is a hand guiding your steps - this is your inner self!!
you are the only one who has control!

'second quality: now and then,
I have to stop writing and use a sharpener. That makes the Pencil suffer a little, but afterwards,
he's much sharper. So you, too,
must learn to bear certain pains and sorrows,
because they will make you a better person.

'third quality: the Pencil always allows us to use an eraser to rub out any mistakes.
This means that correcting something we did is not necessarily a bad thing; it helps to keep us
on the road to justice.

'fourth quality: what really matters in a Pencil is not its wooden exterior, but the graphite inside.
so always pay attention to what is happening inside you.

'finally, the pencil's fifth quality:
it always leaves a mark. In just the same way,
you should know that everything you do in life will leave a mark, so try to be conscious of that and in your every day action

Aggressive Body Language

http://us.123rf.com/400wm/400/400/devas/devas1203/devas120300127/12981201-angry-boy-pointing-aggressive-body-language.jpg

Body positions | Gestures | See also

A significant cluster of body movements is used to signal aggression.

This is actually quite useful as it is seldom a good idea to get into a fight, even for powerful people. Fighting can hurt you, even though you are pretty certain you will win. In addition, with adults, fighting is often socially unacceptable and aggression through words and body language is all that may ever happen.

Threat

Facial signals

Much aggression can be shown in the face, from disapproving frowns and pursed lips to sneers and full snarls. The eyes can be used to stare and hold the gaze for long period. They may also squint, preventing the other person seeing where you are looking.

Attack signals

When somebody is about to attack, they give visual signal such as clenching of fists ready to strike and lowering and spreading of the body for stability. They are also likely to give anger signs such as redness of the face.

Exposing oneself

Exposing oneself to attack is also a form of aggression. It is saying 'Go on - I dare you. I will still win.' It can include not looking at the other person, crotch displays, relaxing the body, turning away and so on.

Invasion

Invading the space of the other person in some way is an act of aggression that is equivalent to one country invading another.

False friendship

Invasion is often done under the cloak of of familiarity, where you act as if you are being friendly and move into a space reserved for friends, but without being invited. This gives the other person a dilemma of whether to repel a 'friendly' advance or to accept dominance of the other.

Approach

When you go inside the comfort zone of others without permission, you are effectively invading their territory. The close you get, the greater your ability to have 'first strike', from which an opponent may not recover.

Touching

Touching the person is another form of invasion. Even touching social touch zones such as arm and back can be aggressive.

Gestures

Insulting gestures

There are many, many gestures that have the primary intent of insulting the other person and hence inciting them to anger and a perhaps unwise battle. Single , arm thrusts, chin tilts and so on are used, although many of these do vary across cultures (which can make for hazardous accidental movements when you are overseas).

Sudden movements

All of these gestures may be done suddenly, signaling your level of aggression and testing the other person's reactions.

How To complete (http://forum.z4ar.com/f125/t237244.html) the QURAN (http://forum.z4ar.com/f125/t237244.html) in Ramadan:
The Qur'an has 600 pages approx.. If you divide it on 30 days, that's 20 pages a day. You see, that's difficult to do right? But, if you divide it on the 5 prayers a day, it gets easier:
*If you read 4 pages after every salah in ramadan, then you've completed the Qur'an.
*If you want to complete (http://forum.z4ar.com/f125/t237244.html) the Qur'an twice, you read 4 pages before and after every salah.*
Imagine if you forward this message, how many people will benefit and complete (http://forum.z4ar.com/f125/t237244.html) the Qur'an. And it gets even better, because you would get the reward for them finding it easier to complete. InshaAllah. Jazak Allah khair. Dua's (nassim)

Fascinating Description In Every Detail
v

******
Rubashov heard the sound of several people marching down the corridor in step. His first thought was: now the beating-up will start. He stopped in the middle of the cell, listening, his chin pushed forward. The marching steps came to a halt before one of the neighboring cells, a low command was heard, the keys jangled. Then there was silence.
Rubashov stood stiffly between the bed and the bucket, held his breath, and waited for the first scream. He remembered that the first scream, in which terror still predominated over physical pain, was usually the worst; what followed was already more bearable, one got used to it and after a time one could even draw conclusions on the method of torture from the tone and rhythm of the screams. Towards the end, most people behaved in the same way, however different they were in temperament and voice: the screams became weaker, changed over into whining and choking. Usually the door would slam soon after. The keys would jangle again; and the first scream of the next victim often came even before they had touched him, at the mere sight of the men in the doorway.
Rubashov stood in the middle of his cell and waited for the first scream. He rubbed his glasses on his sleeve and said to himself that he would not scream this time either, whatever happened to him. He repeated this sentence as if praying with a rosary. He stood and waited; the scream still did not come. Then he heard a faint clanging, a voice murmured something, the cell-door slammed. The footsteps moved to the next cell.

RAMADAN

The moon that once was full, ripe and golden,
Wasted away, thin as the rind of a melon,
Like those poor whom sudden ill fortune
Has wasted away like a waning moon.

Like the generous who leave behind
All that was selfish and unkind,
The moon comes out of the tent of the night
And finds its way with a lamp of light.

The lamp of the moon is relit
And the hungry and thirsty
In the desert of the city
Make a feast to welcome it.

One of the best short stories I ever read
It reminds me of beautiful old college days
***************
“A Mother in Mannville” is a touching, honest literary work that centers on two characters: the narrator, and a boy named Jerry. Through her vivid descriptions of both characters, in addition to the simple, yet revealing dialogue, Rawlings creates a story rich in characterization.
**************

A Mother in Mannville
by Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings

Summary Of The Story
The story takes place in a cottage maintained by an orphanage in the Carolina mountains. The narrator, presumably a woman, has come to the cottage seeking a quiet place to write. She meets Jerry, a twelve-year-old who has been at the orphanage since he was four; Jerry has been sent to help perform odd jobs for her. She quickly discovers Jerry is not only quite strong for his size and age, but is also ambitious and kind. As the story progresses and the two characters grow closer, Jerry reveals that he has a mother in Mannville, a neighboring town. He tells the narrator that his mother sends him gifts, and the narrator is bewildered that a mother would willingly give up her child.

Before leaving, the narrator stops at the orphanage to say goodbye to Jerry, and to leave money for the headmistress to purchase gifts for Jerry on holidays and birthdays. It is then that Rawlings ends her story with a dose of irony: Jerry has not been receiving gifts from his mother in Mannville; in fact, Jerry does not have a mother.

As He Left Weeping.
She Said “How Can You Be Sure.”
He Turned Around From The Door And Said”I Know.”

This is a story worth sharing !!!
This about Mr. Zavere Poonawala who is a well-known Parsee industrialist in Pune, India. He had this driver named Ganga Datt with him for the last 30 years on his limousine, which was originally owned by Acharya Rajneesh.
.
Ganga Datt passed away recently and at that time Mr. Poonawala was in Mumbai for some important work. As soon as he heard the news, he canceled all his meetings, requested the driver’s family to await him for the cremation and came back to Pune immediately by a helicopter.
.

On reaching Pune, he asked the limo to be decorated with flowers as he wished Ganga Datt should be taken in the same car which he himself had driven since the beginning. When Ganga Datt’s family agreed to his wishes, he himself drove Ganga Datt from his home up to the ghat on his last journey.
.
When asked about it, Mr. Poonawala replied that Ganga Datt had served him day and night, and he could at least do this being eternally grateful to him. He further added that Ganga Datt rose up from poverty and educated both his children very well. His daughter is a Chartered accountant and that is so commendable.
.
His comment in the end, is the essence of a successful life in all aspects:
“Everybody earns money which is nothing unusual in that, but we should always be grateful to those people who contribute to our success. This is the belief, we have been brought up with, which made me do, what I did”.
An inspiring example of humility…….

Be who you really are (http://feedproxy.google.com/%7Er/ihqnetwork/%7E3/GS_htyRRfIk/)

If you’re lucky enough to have something that makes you different from everybody else, don’t change.
Uniqueness is priceless.
In this crazy world that’s trying to make you like everyone else,
find the courage to keep being your awesome self.
And when they laugh at you for being different,
laugh back at them for being the same
It takes a lot of courage to stand alone.
But its worth it .
Being YOU is worth it

Devote time and Energy to Positive People ~
Don’t let anyone undermine your dreams ~
Think Positive ~

Once upon a time there was a bunch of tiny frogs who arranged a running competition.
The goal was to reach the top of a very high tower.
A big crowd had gathered around the tower to see the race and cheer on the contestants.
The race began…

Honestly, No one in crowd really believed that the tiny frogs would reach the top of the tower.
crowd yelled statements such as:

“Oh, WAY too difficult!!!” “They will NEVER make it to the top.”
“Not a chance that they will succeed. The tower is too high!”

The tiny frogs began collapsing. One by one. Except for those, who in a fresh tempo,
were climbing higher and higher. The crowd continued to yell,
“It is too difficult!!! No one will make it!” More tiny frogs got tired and gave up.

But ONE continued higher and higher and higher.
This one wouldn’t give up!

At the end everyone else had given up climbing the tower. Except for the one tiny frog who,
after a big effort, was the only one who reached the top!
THEN all of the other tiny frogs naturally wanted to know how this one frog managed to do it?

A contestant asked the tiny frog how he had found the strength to succeed and reach the goal?
It turned out. That the winner was DEAF!!!

:: Moral of the Story ::
Never listen to other people’s tendencies to be negative or pessimistic.
because they take your most wonderful dreams and wishes away from you —
the ones you have in your heart!
Always think of the power words have.
Because everything you hear and read will affect your actions! Therefore,
ALWAYS BE POSITIVE!

Be DEAF when people tell YOU that you cannot fulfill your dreams!

Sand and Stone
A story tells that two friends were walking through the desert.
During some point of the journey they had an argument,
and one friend slapped the other one in the face.
The one who got slapped was hurt,
but without saying anything,
wrote in the sand:
"TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE."
They kept on walking until they found an oasis,
where they decided to take a bath.
The one,
who had been slapped,
got stuck in the mire and started drowning,
but the friend saved him.
After the friend recovered from the near drowning,
he wrote on a stone:
"TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SAVED MY LIFE."
The friend who had slapped and saved his best friend asked him,
"After I hurt you, you wrote in the sand and now
, you write on a stone, why?"
The other friend replied: "When someone hurts us,
we should write it down in sand where winds
of forgiveness can erase it away.
But, when someone does something good for us,
we must engrave it in stone where no wind can ever erase it."

The Prophet -sallAllâhu ‘alaihi wassallam- said:
“Friday is the master of days, and the greatest of them before Allâh.
It is greater before Allâh than the day of al-Adha and the day of al-Fitr.
It has five characteristics:

. On this day Allâh created Adam -’alaihissallam,
. On it He sent Adam -’alaihissallam- down to the earth,
. On it Allâh caused Adam -’alaihissallam- to die,
. On it there is a time when a person does not ask Allâh
for anything but He gives it to him, so long as he does not ask
for anything haraam, and
. On it the Hour will begin.

There is no angel who is close to Allâh, no heaven,
no earth, no wind, no mountain and no sea that does not fear Friday.”

If someone asked you to name the most beautiful word or phrase in English, how would you choose it? Would your choice be based on the meaning of the word, its pronunciation, or spelling?

In his essay "English and Welsh," J.R.R. Tolkien claimed that cellar door was the most beautiful word, as its sound is simple and pleasing.

Serendipity is another word that was suggested as most beautiful-sounding. Unlike cellar door, serendipity has the advantage of positive associations
And
According to a British Council survey, the top 10 most beautiful words in the English language are mother, passion, smile, love, eternity, fantastic, destiny, freedom, liberty, tranquillity

For me I love the word

?How much do you earn

A man came home from work late,
tired and irritated, to find his 5-year old

son waiting for him at the door.

SON: “Daddy, may I ask you a question?”
DAD: “Yeah sure, what is it?” replied the man.
SON: “Daddy, how much do you make an hour?”
DAD: “That’s none of your business.
Why do you ask such a thing?” the man said angrily.
SON: “I just want to know. Please tell me,
how much do you make an hour?”
DAD: “If you must know, I make Rs.100 an hour.”
SON: “Oh,” the little boy replied, with his head down.
SON: “Daddy, may I please borrow Rs.50?”

The father was furious, “If the only reason
you asked that is so you can borrow
some money to buy a silly toy or some
other nonsense, then you march yourself
straight to your room. The little boy quietly
went to his room and shut the door.

———
The man had calmed down,
and started to think: Maybe there
was something he really needed to buy
with that Rs.50 and he really didn’t ask
for money very often. The man went
to the door of the little boy’s room and
opened the door.” Are you asleep, son?” He asked.
“No daddy, I’m awake,” replied the boy.
“I’ve been thinking, maybe I was too hard
on you earlier” said the man.
Here’s the Rs.50 you asked for.”
———-
The little boy sat straight up, smiling.
“Oh, thank you daddy!” He yelled.
Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out
some crumpled up bills. The man saw that
the boy already had money,
started to get angry again. The little boy
slowly counted out his money,
and then looked up at his father.
“Why do you want more money if you
already have some?” the father grumbled
.”Because I didn’t have enough, but now I do,
” the little boy replied.
———-
“Daddy, I have Rs.100 now.
Can I buy an hour of your time?
Please come home early tomorrow.
I would like to have dinner with you.”
………………
The father was crushed. He put his arms
around his little son, and he begged for his forgive

ABEAUTIFUL STORY
*A little boy went to a telephone booth which

was at the cash counter of a store and dialed a number.

The store-owner observed and listened to the conversation:
Boy : “Lady, Can you give me the job of cutting your lawn?

Woman : (at the other end of the phone line)
“I already have someone to cut my lawn.”

Boy : “Lady, I will cut your lawn for half the price
than the person who cuts your lawn now.”

Woman : I’m very satisfied with the person

who is presently cutting my lawn.

Boy : (with more perseverance)

“Lady, I’ll even sweep the floor
and the stairs of your house for free.

Woman : No, thank you.
With a smile on his face, the little boy replaced the receiver.

The store-owner, who was listening to all this, walked over to the boy.
Store Owner : “Son… I like your attitude;

I like that positive spirit and would like to offer you a job.”

Boy : “No thanks,

Store Owner : But you were really pleading for one.

Boy : No Sir, I was just checking my performance at

the job I already have. I am the one who
is working for that lady I was talking to!” *

What is the original meaning of the idiom "BLOCKBUSTER

A "blockbuster" is a "box office success".
The word derives from the WWII aerial bomb that was used by the British air force
to destroy targets in Germany.
It was nicknamed "blockbuster"
because it flattened the entire city block.
Aircrews could feel its blast at 14 000 feet.

In the late 1950s, the name began to be used by the advertising and film industry.
A blockbuster is a thing of great power,
a bestselling, impressive or particularly successful film or book.
Some of the top blockbusters
are the film Titanic and Paulo Coelho’s book The Alchemist.

CARRY ON´ is a phrasal verb meaning ´to continue.´ You may have seen it before in the famous meme, derived from a poster prepared by the British government to keep peoples´ spirits high during World War II in anticipation of a German invasion, that said ´KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON.´

The other part is ´to PICK UP YOURSELF.´ In this photo, we can see that the orange has, literally, picked itself up. Metaphorically speaking, however, it means to cheer up, to feel better about yourself or about a situation. It doesn´t have to be kept in its verbal format. A ´pick-me-up´ is anything that (almost) instantly makes you happier. For some, it may be a good song on the radio, for others, an especially delicious piece of chocolate.

?What are some of your favorite pick-me-ups

There was a farmer in Africa who was happy and content.
He was happy because he was content.
He was content because he was happy.
One day a wise man came to him and told him
about the glory of diamonds and

the power that goes along with them. The wise man said,
“If you had a diamond the size of your thumb,
you could have your own city.
If you had a diamond the size of your fist,
you could probably own your own country.”
And then he went away.

That night the farmer couldn’t sleep.
He was unhappy and he was discontent.
He was unhappy because he was discontent
and discontent because he was unhappy.
The next morning h
e made arrangements to sell off his
farm, took care of his family and went in search of diamonds.
.
He looked all over Africa and couldn’t find any.
He looked all through Europe and couldn’t find any.
When he got to Spain, he was emotionally,
physically and financially broke.
He got so disheartened that he threw himself
into the Barcelona River and committed suicide.
.
Back home, the person who had bought his farm
was watering the camels at a stream that ran
through the farm.
Across the stream, the rays of the morning sun
hit a stone and made it sparkle like a rainbow.
He thought it would look good on the mantle piece.
He picked up the stone and put it in the living room.
That afternoon the wise man came and saw the stone sparkling.
He asked, “Is Hafiz back?” The new owner said,
“No, why do you ask?” The wise man said,
“Because that is a diamond.
I recognize one when I see one.”
.
The man said, no, that’s just a stone
I picked up from the stream. Come, I’ll show you.
There are many more.” They went and picked some
samples and sent them for analysis.
Sure enough, the stones were diamonds.
They found that the farm was indeed
covered with acres and acres of diamonds.

What is the moral of this story? There are five morals:

1. When our attitude is right, we realize that we are
all walking on acres and acres of diamonds.
Opportunity is always under our feet.
We don’t have to go anywhere.
All we need to do is recognize it.

. The grass on the other side always looks greener.

. While we are dyeing the grass on the other side,
there are others who are dyeing the grass on our side.
They would be happy to trade places with us.

. When people don’t know how to recognize opportunity, they complain of noise when it knocks.

. The same opportunity never knocks twice.
The next one may be better or worse,
but it is never the same one.

Every story has an end. But in life, every ending is just a new beginning. Life goes on – not always the way we had envisioned it would be, but always the ways it’s supposed to be.

Remember, we usually can’t choose the music life plays for us, but we can choose how we dance to it. Make yours a beautiful memory.

I see many admire some sayings of many foreign cultures when they listen to these sayings, they surprisingly say : """ ooh wow what a saying"
I still remember that man, how was astonishing when he listened to the Chinese saying " don't give me a fish ,but show me how to catch fish""
That man ,who was a Muslim , said" what wisdom !"
At that moment ,there was a man , a muslin man too, said " in your religion , Islam , a real situation happened to your prophet , Muhammad ( Peace Be Upon Him) ,that is wiser than what you here , and an action not just words.
The situation happened when a poor man came and asked the prophet to give him money . The prophet looked at the poor man and realized that this man can work. The prophet wanted to taught that poor one a great thing that is much better.
He said to the poor :" Do you have anything at your home ? The poor said " Yes I have a sheet ,we sit on part of it and cover with the other ,and a pot, we drink and eat in it " The Prophet said to him " go and bring them to me ." When the poor man brought the things, the prophet ,raised them to his companions and said : " Who buy these? " One of the companions said "I buy them for one Durham " The prophet said " who pays more ? " Another one of the companions said " I buy them for two Durhams" The prophet gave the things to the him , and take the two Durhams.
He turned to the poor and said " take these two Durhams .Buy some food with one Durhams and give it to your family. With the other Durham , buy an ax and bring it to me . When the man came back with the ax the prophet made a wooden hand to this ax and said to the poor man " Go and collect firewood for fifty days " The man went and started collecting firewood and come back after fifty days with ten Durhams gained from buying firewood. He bought a thobe and some food with these Durhams.
When the prophet saw this , he said to that poor " This is much better for you than begging from people, and they give you or not"
Look how your Islamic culture is has much more wisdom than any other culture . Just be proud of being Muslim and let the others know how Islam urges its followers to work.

I Wish You Enough

Recently, I overheard a mother and daughter in their last moments together at the airport
as the daughter’s departure had been announced.
Standing near the security gate,
they hugged and the mother said:
“I love you and I wish you enough.”

The daughter replied, “Mom, our life together has been more than enough.
Your love is all I ever needed.
I wish you enough, too, Mom.”
They kissed and the daughter left.

The mother walked over to the window where I sat.
Standing there, I could see she wanted and needed to cry.
I tried not to intrude on her privacy
but she welcomed me in by asking,
“Did you ever say good-bye to someone knowing it would be forever?” “Yes, I have,” I replied.
“Forgive me for asking but why is this a forever good-bye?”

“I am old and she lives so far away.
I have challenges ahead and the reality
is the next trip back will be for my funeral,” she said.
When you were saying good-bye, I heard you say,
“I wish you enough.” May I ask what that means?”

She began to smile. “That’s a wish that has been handed down from other generations.
My parents used to say it to everyone.”
She paused a moment and looked up
as if trying to remember it in detail and she smiled even more.

“When we said ‘I wish you enough’
we were wanting the other person
to have a life filled with just enough
good things to sustain them”.
Then turning toward me, she shared the following,
reciting it from memory,

“I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright.
I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more.
I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive.
I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear much bigger.
I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.
I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.
I wish you enough hellos to get you through the final good-bye.”
She then began to cry and walked away.

Nurture Relationships…..As they say…
.It takes a minute to find a special person ~ An hour to appreciate them ~ A day to love them ~
And then an entire life to forget them.

All Seasons are Beautiful for the Person who carries Happiness within… Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, Always bring your own sunshine….. Mark Twain has so rightly said … Happiness is a Swedish sunset — it is there for all, but most of us look the other way and lose it…. Life is full of blessings … Look within…

http://www.searchquotes.com/images/quotemarkleft.png You still have a lot of time to make yourself be what you want. Theres still lots of good in the world. http://www.searchquotes.com/images/quotemarkright.png

Knowing that there is a still lot of time as long as you have breath to make the kind of impact on the world that you know deep down in your heart that you should make. Just because you may be looked upon by others as too old too start pursuing your dream we should never let the things that people say about us to judge us, deter us from being in the exact places in life that we want to be.

Don't be bugged over anyone who doesn't believe in you. Instead of worrying about those who aren't real friends to you and their negativity, think about the positive things in life. Be thankful for the people around you who will support you in any productive act you commit, and be thankful for the gift of life and everyday that you have to try to reach your dreams.

(The Cookie Thief~l)
.A woman was waiting at an airport one night, with several long
hours before her flight. She hunted for a book in the airport shops,
bought a bag of cookies and found a place to drop..
She was engrossed in her book but happened to see,
that the man sitting beside her, as bold as could be. .
.grabbed a cookie or two from the bag in between,
which she tried to ignore to avoid a scene.
So she munched the cookies and watched the clock,
as the gutsy cookie thief diminished her stock..
She was getting more irritated as the minutes ticked by, thinking,
“If I wasn’t so nice, I would blacken his eye.
” With each cookie she took,
he took one too, when only one was left,
she wondered what he would do..
With a smile on his face, and a nervous laugh,
he took the last cookie and broke it in half.
He offered her half, as he ate the other,
she snatched it from him and thought…
oooh, brother. This guy has some nerve
and he’s also rude, why he didn’t even show any gratitude! .
She had never known when she had been so galled,
and sighed with relief when her flight was called.
She gathered her belongings and headed to
the gate, refusing to look back at the thieving ingrate.
She boarded the plane, and sank in her seat, then she sought her book,
which was almost complete.
.As she reached in her baggage, she gasped with surprise,
there was her bag of cookies, in front of her eyes.
If mine are here, she moaned in despair, the others were his,
and he tried to share. .Too late to apologize,
she realized with grief, that she was the rude one,
the ingrate, the thief.
.MORAL
Those who jump before looking end up on head first
in the shallow end.
When you jump to conclusions you often skip
over the truth & sometimes it is too late to make amends…….

http://rishikajain.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Weakness-Strength-Inspirational-Stories.jpeg (http://rishikajain.com/tag/inspirational-story)

Weakness or Strength

Sometimes our biggest weakness can become our biggest strength. Take, for example, the story of one 10-year-old boy
who decided to study Judo despite the fact that he
had lost his left arm in a devastating car accident.

The boy began lessons with an old Japanese Judo master.
The boy was doing well, so he couldn’t understand why,
after three months of training the master had taught him
only one move.

“Sensei,” the boy finally said,
“Shouldn’t I be learning more moves?”

“This is the only move you know, but this is the only move
you’ll ever need to know.” – the sensei replied.

Not quite understanding, but believing in his teacher,
the boy kept training.

Several months later, the sensei took the boy to his first tournament. Surprising himself,
the boy easily won his first two matches.
The third match proved to be more difficult, but after some time,
his opponent became impatient and charged;
the boy deftly used his one move to win the match.
Still amazed by his success, the boy was now in the finals.

This time, his opponent was bigger, stronger,
and more experienced. For a while, the boy appeared to be overmatched. Concerned that the boy might get hurt,
the referee called a time-out.
He was about to stop the match when the sensei intervened.

“No,” the sensei insisted, “Let him continue.”

Soon after the match resumed, his opponent made a critical mistake:
he dropped his guard.
Instantly, the boy used his move to pin him.
The boy had won the match and the tournament.
He was the champion.

On the way home, the boy and sensei reviewed
every move in each and every match.
Then the boy summoned the courage to ask what
was really on his mind.
“Sensei, how did I win the tournament with only one move?”

“You won for two reasons,” the sensei answered.
“First, you’ve almost mastered one of the most
difficult throws in all of judo. And second,
the only known defense for that move is
for your opponent to grap your left arm
.”
The boy’s biggest weakness had become his biggest strength.
Sometimes our biggest weakness can become our biggest strength.

Short Stories that Will Leave You Smiling,
Crying and Thinking !!!!!!!

Today at the Atlanta airport, as I walked off a plane dressed in my Army uniform, a little girl grabbed my hand and asked me if I would be going back overseas soon. I told her I would be in 6 weeks. She smiled and said, “Can you please tell my daddy that I love him. My mommy told me he’s never coming home from over there .
Today, when I slipped on the wet tile floor a boy in a wheelchair caught me before I slammed my head on the ground. He said, “Believe it or not, that’s almost exactly how I injured my back 3 years ago .
Today, my father told me, “Just go for it and give it a try! You don’t have to be a professional to build a successful product. Amateurs started Google and Apple. Professionals built the Titanic.
Today, exactly twenty years ago to the hour, I risked my life to save a woman who was drowning in the rapids of the Colorado River. And that’s how I met my wife – the love of my life.
Today, I asked my mentor – a very successful business man in his 70’s – what his top 3 tips are for success. He smiled and said, “Read something no one else is reading, think something no one else is thinking, and do something no one else is doing.
Today, I interviewed my grandmother for part of a research paper I’m working on for my Psychology class. When I asked her to define success in her own words, she said, “Success is when you look back at your life and the memories make you smile.

The last wishes of Alexander the Great:
On his death bed, Alexander summoned his generals
and told them his 3 ultimate wishes:
. The best doctors should carry his coffin;
. The wealth he has accumulated (money, gold, precious stones)
should be scattered along the procession
to the cemetery and,
. His hands should be let loose, hanging outside the coffin
for all to see.
One of his generals who was surprised by these
unusual requests asked Alexander to explain.
Here is what Alexander the Great had to say:
. I want the best doctors to carry my coffin to demonstrate that,
in the face of death, even the best doctors in the world
have no power to heal.
. I want the road to be covered with my treasure so that everybody sees that material wealth acquired on earth, stays on earth.
. I want my hands to swing in the wind, so that people understand that we come to this world empty handed and we leave this world empty handed after the most precious treasure of all is exhausted, and that is TIME..

?Et tu, Brute

:
http://www.englishclub.com/ref/_static/i/et-tu-brute.jpg
NoteThese words come from Shakespeare's play
Julius Caesar, which includes
the Roman ruler Caesar's murder by a group
of senators in 44 BCE. The senators were led by Marcus Brutus (Brute), who had been a close friend of Caesar.
The Latin "Et tu, Brute?" may be translated literally as
"And you, Brutus?", or more loosely as
"You too, Brutus?" or "Even you, Brutus?" In the play,
Caesar utters these words and resigns
himself to death when he sees that even his
closest friend is among the conspirators.
To this extent, the term has come to symbolize
the epitome of betrayal, and perhaps resignation or acceptance.
Note that the word "Brute" is pronounced
- and sometimes written - as "Brut" [broo-tay].

http://rishikajain.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/Our_Apple_Tree_smaller.jpg

A long time ago, there was a huge apple tree. A little boy loved to come and play around it everyday. He climbed to the treetop, ate the apples, and took a nap under the shadow.

He loved the tree and the tree loved to play with him. Time went by, the little boy had grown up and he no longer played around the tree every day.

One day, the boy came back to the tree and he looked sad.
“Come and play with me”, the tree asked the boy.

“I am no longer a kid, I do not play around trees any more” the boy replied.

“I want toys. I need money to buy them.”

“Sorry, but I do not have money, but you can pick all my apples and sell them. So, you will have money.”

The boy was so excited. He grabbed all the apples on the tree and left happily. The boy never came back after he picked the apples.
The tree was sad.

One day, the boy who now turned into a man returned

and the tree was excited.

“Come and play with me” the tree said.

“I do not have time to play. I have to work for my family. We need a house for shelter. Can you help me?”

“Sorry, but I do not have any house.
But you can chop off my branches to build your house.
” So the man cut all the branches of the tree and left happily.

The tree was glad to see him happy but the man never
came back since then. The tree was again lonely and sad.

One hot summer day, the man returned and the tree
was delighted.

“Come and play with me!” the tree said.

“I am getting old. I want to go sailing to relax myself.
Can you give me a boat?” said the man.

“Use my trunk to build your boat.
You can sail far away and be happy.”

So the man cut the tree trunk to make a boat.

He went sailing and never showed up for a long time.

Finally, the man returned after many years.

“Sorry, my boy. But I do not have anything for you anymore.
No more apples for you”, the tree said.
“No problem, I do not have any teeth to bite” the

man replied.

“No more trunk for you to climb on.” “I am too old for that now” the man said. “I really cannot give you anything, the only thing left is my dying roots,” the tree said with tears.

“I do not need much now, just a place to rest.
I am tired after all these years,” the man replied.
“Good! Old tree roots are the best place to lean on and rest,

come sit down with me and rest.” The man sat down and the tree was glad and smiled with tears.

This is a story of everyone. The tree is like our parents.
When we were young, we loved to play with

our Mum and Dad. When we grow up, we leave them;
only come to them when we need something or when we are in trouble. No matter what, parents will always be
there and give everything they could just to make
you happy.

You may think the boy is cruel to the tree, but that is how all of us treat our parents. We take them for granted; we don’t appreciate all they do for us, until it’s too late.

~ Moral ~ Treat your parents with loving care…

. For you will know their value, when you see their empty chair…We never know the love of our parents for us; till we have become parents .

The miracle of Pure Selfless Helping Heart

Tess was a precocious eight year old when she heard her Mom and Dad talking about her little brother, Andrew.
All she knew was that he was very sick and they were completely out of money.
They were moving to an apartment complex next month
because Daddy didn’t have the money for the doctor
bills and our house. Only a very costly surgery could save him now and it was looking like there was no-one to loan them the money.
She heard Daddy say to her tearful Mother with whispered desperation, “Only a miracle can save him now.”

Tess went to her bedroom and pulled a glass jelly jar
from its hiding place in the closet.
She poured all the change out on the floor and counted it carefully. Three times, even. The total had to be exactly perfect.
No chance here for mistakes.
Carefully placing the coins back in the jar and twisting on the cap,
she slipped out the back door and made her way 6 blocks
to Rexall’s Drug Store with the big red Indian Chief
sign above the door.

She waited patiently for the pharmacist to give her
some attention but he was too busy at this moment.
Tess twisted her feet to make a scuffing noise.
Nothing. She cleared her throat with the most disgusting
sound she could muster. No good.

Finally she took a quarter from her jar and banged it
on the glass counter. That did it!

“And what do you want?” the pharmacist asked in an annoyed tone of voice. “I’m talking to my brother from
Chicago whom I haven’t seen in ages,
” he said without waiting for a reply to his question.

“Well, I want to talk to you about my brother,
” Tess answered back in the same annoyed tone.
“He’s really, really sick… and I want to buy a miracle.”

“I beg your pardon?” said the pharmacist.

“His name is Andrew and he has something bad
growing inside his head and my Daddy says only
a miracle can save him now. So how much does a miracle cost?”

“We don’t sell miracles here, little girl.
I’m sorry but I can’t help you,” the pharmacist said, softening a little. “Listen, I have the money to pay for it. If it isn’t enough,
I will get the rest. Just tell me how much it costs.”

The pharmacist’s brother was a well dressed man.
He stooped down and asked the little girl,
“?What kind of a miracle does you brother need”

“I don’t know,” Tess replied with her eyes welling up.
“I just know he’s really sick and Mommy says
he needs an operation. But my Daddy can’t pay for it,
so I want to use my money.”

“How much do you have?” asked the man from Chicago.
“One dollar and eleven cents,” Tess answered barely audibly.
“And it’s all the money I have, but I can get some more if I need to.

“Well, what a coincidence,” smiled the man.
“A dollar and eleven cents – the exact price of a miracle for little brothers.” He took her money in one hand and with the other hand
he grasped her mitten and said,
“Take me to where you live.
I want to see your brother and meet your parents.
Let’s see if I have the kind of miracle you need.”

That well dressed man was Dr. Carlton Armstrong, a surgeon, specialising in neuro-surgery.
The operation was completed without charge
and it wasn’t long until Andrew was home again and doing well. Mom and Dad were happily talking about
the chain of events that had led them to this place.

“That surgery,” her Mom whispered. “was a real miracle.
?I wonder how much it would have cost”

Tess smiled. She knew exactly how much a miracle cost…
one dollar and eleven cents … plus the faith (http://rishikajain.com/tag/faith) of a little child.

Sheikh Ibn Uthaimeen said about the English language :

Even if it was the disbelievers's language, you may need it someday.
And I wish I know this language .
Because I found in it a great benefit to ( Daawah ) guiding to Allah .
A person comes to you to enter Islam and you can not communicate with him .

Sheikh Ibn Uthaimeen also said :

That is why the Prophet ( peace be upon him ) ordered Zaid bin Thabet
to learn the Hebrew language, which is the language of Jews .

Sheikh Ibn Uthaimeen also said :

Suppose you were in a society that only knows the English language .

Whether they were Englishmen or not .
How will you guide them to Allah .

Can you guide them through signs ?!

Even if you can through a huge knowledge of signs
You can not guide them or direct them through speeches .
So, the statement that ( English is disbelievers's language and is forbidden to be taught )
is a false statement .

http://www.searchquotes.com/images/quotemarkleft.png People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish,
ulterior motives. Be kind anyway. If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies.
Succeed anyway. If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you.
Be honest and sincere anyway.
What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight.
Create anyway. If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous.
Be happy anyway. The good you do today, will often be forgotten.
Do good anyway. Give the best you have, and it will never be enough.
Give your best anyway. In the final analysis, it is between you and God.
It was never between you and them anyway

Connect with your children by disconnecting from distraction
.

Children need the attention of their parents, but technology is a constant distraction!.

The lure of gadgets like iphones, ipads, blackberries etc along with the rising use of internet, addiction to social media (facebook, twitter etc.)
& humongous information flow is gradually creating a distance in relationships..

Now, Many no longer like to wish or talk in person on special occasions.
They are happy to wish via sms or a 140 character tweet.
Parents are finding increasingly difficult to spend time with children.

.

Earlier – in the pre social media days, the spare time was used to spend time with children – teach them in their studies,
play with them or just listen to the happenings in their world.
However now a days all that time is being eaten up by swanky gadgets.
There is no more time time left for children.
Parents are happy to splurge on gadgets for their children.

.

Spending time with children DOES NOT only mean taking them out for a movie or eating out in a fast food restaurant of their choice.
Of course this is time spent with them, BUT definitely not quality time.

.

Remember, Children need your time and attention more than anything else.
They are growing up. Spend time teaching them,
listening to their stories and gossips. Try answering their innumerable simple questions
(like What should I become when I grow up?)~
the answers to which are definitely not easy.

.

Do not miss out on the precious moments, priceless life experiences of the time spent with your child. Create beautiful life experiences .
You will make a world of difference in their lives.
They need your time and attention more than anything else.
Give it to them. Otherwise it will be too late when they are grown up
become BUSY like you…

In Japanese schools, the students don't get ANY exams
until they reach
grade four (the age of 10)! Why?
Because the goal for the first 3 years of schools is
NOT to judge the child's
knowledge or learning, but to establish good manners and .
..!to develop their character
Yes, that's what our scholars taught us
:Manners BEFORE knowledge!
?Should this method be implemented all over the world

‪"Ask a flower in the field: ‘Do you feel useful? After all,
you do nothing but produce the same flowers over and over?’
And the flower will answer: ‘I am beautiful,
and beauty is my reason for living.’

Ask the river: ‘Do you feel useful, ...given that all you
do is to keep flowing in the same direction?’
And the river will answer: ‘I’m not trying to be useful,
I’m trying to be a river.’

Nothing in this world is useless in the eyes of God.
Not a leaf from a tree falls, not a hair from your head,
not even an insect dies because it was of no use.
Everything has a reason to exist.

Even you, the person asking the question.
‘I’m useless’ is the answer you give yourself.

Soon that answer will poison you and you will die while still alive,
even though you still walk, eat, sleep
and try to have a little fun whenever possible.

Don’t try to be useful. Try to be yourself: that is enough,
and that makes all the difference."

http://rishikajain.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/Camels1.jpg

A father left 17 camels as an asset for his three sons.

When the father passed away, his sons opened up the will.
The Will of the father stated that the eldest son

should get half of 17 camels while the middle son should
be given 1/3rd (one-third).
The youngest son should be given 1/9th (one-ninth)

of the 17 camels.

As it is not possible to divide 17 into half or 17 by 3 or 17 by 9,
three sons started to fight with each other.

So, the three sons decided to go to a wise man.

The wise man listened patiently about the Will.
The wise man, after giving this thought,
brought one camel of his own and added the same to 17.

That increased the total to 18 camels.

Now, he started reading the deceased father’s will.
Half of 18 = 9. So he gave the eldest son 9 camels 1/3rd of 18 = 6.
So he gave the middle son 6 camels 1/9th of 18 = 2. So he gave the youngest son 2 camels.

Now add this up: 9 plus 6 plus 2 is 17 and this leaves one camel,
which the wise man took back
.

Moral :The attitude of negotiation and problem solving
is to find the 18th camel i.e. the common ground.
Once a person is able to find the common ground,
the issue is resolved. It is difficult at times. However,
to reach a solution, the first step is to believe that there is a solution.
If we think that there is no solution, we won’t be able to reach any

Once upon a time ......
One day ,a man planted a rose and watered it faithfully
and before it blossomed,
he examined it. He saw the bud that would soon blossom,
but noticed thorns upon the stem and he thought,
“How can a...ny beautiful flower come from aplant burdened
with so many sharp thorns?”

Saddened by this thought,he neglected to water the rose,
and just before it was ready to bloom... it died.
So it is with many people. Within every soul there is a rose.
The good qualities planted in us at birth, grow amid the thorns of our faults. Many of us look at ourselves and see only the thorns,
the defects.
We despair, thinking that nothing good can possibly come from us.
We neglect to water the good within us,
and eventually it dies.
We never realize our potential.

Some people do not see the rose within themselves;
someone else must show it to them. One of the greatest gifts a person can possess is to be able to reach past the thorns of another,
and find the rose
within them.

This is one of the characteristic of love... to look at a person,
know their true faults and accepting that person into your life...
all the while recognizing the nobility in their soul.
Help others to realize they can overcome their faults.
If we show them the “rose” within themselves,
they will conquer heir thorns.
Only then will they blossom many times over.
