التعليم عن طريق الحاسوب أو التعليم الحاسوبي أمر مهم وجزء لايتجزأ من العملية التعليمية،فالمؤسسة التعليمية التي تقوم بتفعيل الحاسوب في تعليمها هي في الحقيقة تستثمر الوقت و العلم ، فمن خلال الحاسوب يمكن ان تدرس المواد العملية وللغوية وغيرها اذا أحسن المعلم طريقة استخدام الحاسوب ،واستطاع ان يختار البرامج الملائمة للطلاب.
أن المعمل الحاسوبي لايعني بالضرورة ان المدرسة تقوم بتعليم مادة الحاسوب ضمن منهجها التعليمي.مادة مستقله تعنى بعلم . الحاسوب ومفرداته. إنما يدخل الحاسوب في تعليم كثير من المواد المختلفة، فعلى سبيل المثال يدخل الحاسوب في مادة الكيمياء والفيزياء والرياضيات واللغات كاللغة الانجليزية مثلا. وفي الأونة الاخيرة دخل الحاوسب في تعليم مادة الجغرافيا ، وخصوصاً جغرافيا المناخ وتضاريس الارض، ولم يقتصر الامر على ذلك فقط...فقد استطاع الحاسوب ان يقدم خدمات تعليمية لمادة الحديث النبوي والسيرة ، فأصبح الحاسوب في ضل التقدم التقني الحثيث جزءا من مواد كثيرة في الاونة الاخيرة.

Thus , the educational institution that attends to activate the use of computer in the learning process actually exploits both time and knowledge. All theortical and scientific courses can be taught through the computer if the teacher knows how to deal with the computer and choose the suitable programs for the students. The computer lab in the school is not only specialized for computer course but also for many different courses like chemistry, physics, maths and foreign languages like English.
Recently, geography became involved in the electronic learning including climate and topographic relief. However, the computer even provided educational services for prophetical sayings and mores. So, the computer now becomes an important part in many educational courses under technological development.

Through computer educational applications, all theoretical and scientific courses can be taught in a simple way only if the instructor deals with those applications in an appropriate way that suits his/her students

The existence of a computer laboratory in a certain school does not necessarily mean that that place is only for teaching computer courses; many different courses, however, like chemistry, physics, mathematics and even foreign languages can be tutored there. Furthermore, some geography teachers have changed their classrooms into electronic teaching environments where they can effortlessly explain many lessons related to climate and topography. Moreover, the use of computer has spruced up religious lessons, too; many teachers of Hadeeth course (Aphorisms of Prophet Muhammad PBUH) along with those teaching Sira (Prophet Muhammad's Biography ) have also begun employing computer in their classrooms


In actual fact, technology revolution has lent a helpful hand to teachers of various courses
