Thanks a lot .. It is really worth reading . Such so-called "Phrasal Verbs" are important to know especially for those whose major is English . To clarify that importance ,let's see this simple example about ( Look) : We would read things like these: 1-
Look at the board 2- I am looking for my keys .Has anyone seen them ? 3- Look out ! There is a car coming > 4- If you don't know the meaning of the word I gave it to you yesterday ,just look it up in your dictionary . 5- Nurses look after patients in the hospitals.It's a part of their daily duty . As a summary of all of this : The verb look as a phrasal verb (We mean by a phrasal verb Verb+a preposition )may have variations in meaning according to the preposition accompanied with as the above examples show . So , it would be bit harder to guess the meaning by just having a literal translation of the main verb .. Thanks again for this fabulous work .. It 's really great
