A screen can be anything from television and computer screens to cellphone screens or even the screen on a microwave or your DVR. A screen (in computer terminology) is a universal term for any type of electronic display. A screen can also be projector screens or even a screen on a window.

A monitor is a specific type of screen. A computer monitor is designed with personal computers in mind. They have specific resolutions and aspect ratios which match up to a generic GPU on a computer.
