Few days ago I received an amazing video on starlings murmuration.
I then remembered a short article I prepared a year ago about this amazing phenomenon.
No words or even photos can illustrate
this unbelievable shows without watching

It happens every year during autumn, before dusk over the sky in Scotland and in other countries
in the same temperate region, when a huge flock of migratory starling birds perform
magical dancing shows and shape-shifting
flight patterns.
The breathtaking phenomenon is called
starling murmurations.
Starlings are small-sized passerine birds, that have reaction time under 100 milliseconds to avoid
aerial collisions—and predators—in the giant flock. The birds tend to flock together for protection
and can reach speeds of up to 32 km/h.
