احتاج من من يستطيع ان يقدم شرح لقاعدة reporting statement opinion

و مشكورين على الجهود

there are 5 reporting verbs.
say
claim
think
believe
tell
we use them to report news or persons' speech

the form:
He says (that)
He claims (that)
He believes (that)
He tells me\ his friend\ Ahmed (that)

that is not important word.. we can keep it in reported sentences or we can cancel it..
important note!
tell must followed by an object but other reporting verbs no

Now, how can we report a sentence by using reporting verbs?

e.g:
"I am very happy today"
reported sentence:
She says\ claims that she is very happy today.
She tells her mother that she is very happy today.

in reporting a sentence we just change any pronoun in the sentence into a suitable one.
