[align=left]First of all, we have to define the word "Bilingualism" which refers to the ability of speaking two languages equally well…(1),
also the word "Simultaneous" that means the action of gaining or acquiring two languages at the same time and at the same place. For example, you are a Saudi studying or working abroad in (London).
Your children if exist! Will exposed to two or more languages this depend on the area you live in. So the children who go to school to learn English, besides taking some words from the streets and when they come back home they return to speak in Arabic, which is the "mother tongue". I want to mention that in our society here in "Jeddah" small children are getting involved with more than five languages and that's come from one country only called Chad. How? Read this:
The Chadian people have as many as 120 languages, (2) some of the Chadian tribes who live in our district called: Arabi, Qur3ani, Bullalli, Koka, katinpo, and many many which I can't count it in this place, but you can - if you look at the final page of this project which I make it as a supplement or appendix.
Nevertheless, we have Indians, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Somali, which we live with them and talk to them in mosques, different shops and streets.
The idea is can we acquire these languages. My answer is definitely yes, because learning language needs practicing and if you have the people who talk such language in your own home you will learn..
