The kingdom's policy of education
1 – To stress the believe in Allah as our god , in Islam as religion and in Mohammad as our prophet .
2 – To have an Islamic view of life of the existence of the human life , and to believe that this life is controlled by the command of Allah .
3- To believe that this life is for production and work . In it , Muslims invest their ability to prepare themselves for the permanent life ( THE AFTER LIFE ) .
4- To understand the message of our prophet , which shows man the straightest way of life that realizes the happiness of man .
5- To direct the different branches of education for the services of Islam and to be in harmony with the Islamic thoughts .
6- To benefit from different knowledge of humanity in accordance with Islam to develop the standard of the Islamic nation .
7 – To have deep trust in the ability of Muslim nation despite the difference in colors , countries and languages of its members .
8- To have a strong bind with our history and our religion . We should benefit from our ancestors ' way of life now and in the future .
9 – The kingdom of Saudi Arabia has its own special characteristics as it is responsible for protecting the holy places and taking Islam as a guide and way of life . It is our responsibility , therefore , to see that this is fulfilled in our teaching .
10 – The main aim of education is to understand Islam correctly and to plant this in the mind of our student and to supply them with different knowledge , skills and attitudes so as to create an advanced community in the different fields of economy , education and morality .
IT IS TO PREPARE EVERY MEMBER IN SOCITY TO BE A GOOD AND ACTIVE CITIZEN FOR THE SERVICE OF ISLAM .

The General Objectives of Teaching English Language in Saudi Arabia
Students should be able to :
1-Develop their intellectual, personal and professional abilities.
2-Acquire basic language skills ( Listening , speaking , reading and writing) in order to communicate with speakers of English Language .
3-Acquire the linguistic competence necessarily required in various life situations.
4- Acquire the linguistic competence necessarily required in different professions.
5-Develop their awareness of the importance of English as a means of international communication.
6-Develop positive attitudes towards learning English.
7-Develop the linguistic competence that enables them to be aware of cultural , economical and social issues of their society in order to contribute in giving solutions.
8-Develop the linguistic competence that enables them , in the future, to present and explain the Islamic concepts and issues and participate in spreading Islam.
9-Develop the linguistic competence that enables them , in the future, to present the culture and civilization of their nation.
10-Benefit from English-speaking nations , in order to enhance the concepts of international cooperation that develop understanding and respect of cultural differences among nations.
11-Acquire the linguistic bases that enable them to participate in transferring the scientific and technological advances of other nations to their nation.
12-Acquire the linguistic bases that enable them to present and explain Islamic concepts and issues, and participate in the dissemination of them.
