Oh, I do remember
When you came for me
As a lovely angel
Who saves who feels lonely.
You took my feeble hand
Your touch was clear and white.
Again you helped me stand
Fondled my trembling heart.
I drank your gentle words
And wanted more to drink
I felt as if the birds
Had sung about the spring
