The thread, starts by saying: How do you choose your friends, what are the criteria!?
Well said ^. Am not somebody who has millions of friends " am in my mid 20s, and I can proudly say, I got only three lifetime friend, that I wont gamble about them by any mean".
Real friends are hard to come by but the ones I have, have things in common : tolerance, acceptance, availability, durability and forgiveness when I make quite a few "oops"( not few really " heaps of oppppps
"...
I have read that friendships are like marriage : something to work on.......I don't know whether I agree on not
on this one...undecided....For sure when conflicts arise, there is a definite need for communication if you want your friendship to be preserved and do not want the person to disappear from your life.. I do start the conversation, coz simply I don’t want to loose the blessing I have…
I choose my friends by their personality, ambitions, aims, dreams and through conversations.
When choosing friends they have to be doing something positive with their life, have fixed goals or ideas of what they want to accomplish in the future,
he or she must accept a person for who they are and have confidence. Also, both parties should want to see each other doing good and push each other to succeed.
When it comes to choosing good friends neither one should jealous or envy the other.
not to forget, my friends are so Authentic, so true, they are the one who makes you smile, even if they didnt do a thing...
May ALLAH bless all good friends...
