hi
for sure the answer is
where was the fox?
because when we ask a question in the past about someone's postion or thing
we use the (was , were) for the singular and plural
which they are from the "be" base form
great question thanks:)
A strange question from you dear
:smile (55):
A very easy one
Without doubt , it is ( a ).i
Where was the the fox
Why*
The original sentence is
The fox was in the garden
Was the fox in the garden? Yes / No question
Where was the fox ? a W/H question
No need to use did here
But Where did the fox ? is meaningless and tasteless
:smile (79):
My regards to you
