this is a poem I wrote....hope u like it



At midnight, I watch the shade …
Waiting for the dark to fade..

And suddenly, you are here..
My prayers were answered..

Flame, is that the word??
Or is it something like the fog!!

But I know that you are here..
My prayers were answered..

All this madness in my heart..
Flickering light in my eyes..

Tell the world am in love..
Surely with the right one..

life without you seems a loss..
Having no one I can trust

Then like rain, you came down..
Promising paradise in your arm..

Kept me sheltered from the snow..
Warmed my heart with passions' glow ..

Like a candle, lit up my days..
Surrounding me with tender grace..

I touch the stars when I'm with you..
For you are a dream came true..

Gently walking on the beach..
Lovely shells at our reach..

I drew a map of happiness…
Said goodbye to loneliness..

You taught me how to float so high..
Leaving all my sadness behind..

don't you leave, not now or ever..
Your absence tastes so bitter..

Unbearable, like a bleeding wound..
That is how I long for you…

Cruel is life, full of tears..
I'm so lost when you're not here..

congratulations for the wonderful poem u have written. it's a very elegant peice of work and i liked much.
am not a poet to comment or critisize on ur poem but i will tell u what i think, no hard feelings
1- a very touching poem with great and warm passion.
2- not really sure about wheather it is rymed or not.
3- check the tone and try to put it in a clear stanza
this would make it gain more credit, though italready has.
if i were meant by such a poem, i might lose consciousness.
well done wealthy poet and keep up the good work.
