هل فكرت يوما لماذ الغير ناطقين بالانجليزية يجدون صعوبة في تعلمها؟
Have you ever wondered why foreigners have trouble with the English Language?
دعونا نواجه الامر
Let's face it
English is a stupid language.
اللغه الانجليزية لغة غبية
There is no egg in the eggplant
لايوجد هناك بيض في الباذنجان
No ham in the hamburger
لايود خنزير في الهامبرجر
And neither pine nor apple in the pineapple.
لايوجد صنوبر ولا تفاح في الاناناس
English muffins were not invented in England
الكعك الانجليزي لم يخترع في انجلترا
French fries were not invented in France.
البطاطا المقلية الفرنسية لم تخترع في فرنسا
If writers write, how come fingers don't fing.
اذا كان الفعل من كاتب يكتب، فماذا ليس الفعل من اصبع يصبع
If the plural of tooth is teeth
اذا كان الجمع من سن اسنان
Shouldn't the plural of phone booth be phone beeth
فلماذا ليس الجمع من حجرة التليفون حجرة التليفان
If the teacher taught,
اذا كان المدرس درس
Why didn't the preacher praught.
لماذ الواعظ لم يوعظ
If a vegetarian eats vegetables
اذا كان النباتيين يأكلون االنبات
What the heck does a humanitarian eat!?
فبالله ماذا يأكل البشريين؟
Why do people recite at a play
لماذا الناس يصلون في المسرحية ؟
Yet play at a recital?
ثم يلعبون في المصلى
Park on driveways and
يتنزهون في الممرات
Drive on parkways
ثم يمرون في المتنزهات
You have to marvel at the unique lunacy
انك مضطر الى ان تتعجب من الجنون الفريد
Of a language where a house can burn up as It burns down
من لغة عندما يمكن للمنزل ان يتهدم كما يحترق
And in which you fill in a form By filling it out
وعندما تملا استمارة بتعبئتها
And a bell is only heard once it goes!
ومن الجرس عندما لاتسمع صوته الا فقط عندما تدقه
English was invented by people, not computers
الانجليزية اخترعت بواسطة الانسان وليس الكومبيوتر
And it reflects the creativity of the human race
وهذا الذي يعكس ابداع الجنس البشري
(Which of course isn't a race at all)
الذي هو ليس سباق ابدا
That is why When the stars are out they are visible
ولذلك عندما تكون النجوم في السماء تكون ظاهرة
But when the lights are out they are invisible
وعندما يكون الضوء في السماء تكون مختفية
And why it is that when I wind up my watch It starts
وهي لذالك عندما اضبط ساعتي تشتغل
But when I wind up this observation, It ends
وعندما اضبط هذه المحادثة تنتهي
