I want to know the basic rules of how to write the names in english
like ( MOHMMED OR NASSAR ) Why we put double letter in these and the other and I want to give me the names some books talk about this

I thing we put double letters in these names

because there is a stress in the Arabic one

But as far as I know there is no specific rules for how to write Arabic names in English. It depends on the writer himself
sometimes we see that Mohammad is written like this : Mohammador Mohaamed or Mohamad, or Mohammud
