حصلت إجابات على السؤال الأول والثاني

إجابة السؤال الأول
Closed (checked) syllables end in a consonant, open (free) syllables end in a vowel.
...............
An open syllable is a syllable which ends in a vowel. A closed syllable is a syllable where there is a consonant after the vowel.

إجابة السؤال الثاني
DIACRITICS
Diacritics are marks added to sound transcription symbols in order to give them a particular
phonetic value. The set of basic phonetic transcription symbols represents language-specific typical productions. Because speech-language pathologists deal mostly with aberrant articulatory events, it follows that diacritical markers are of special importance when characterizing the speech of their clients. Diacritics are needed to note the clients’ deviant sound qualities.
