Thanks for the thread. I really think most of the errors are basically wrong 'choice of words' and 'word order' . I guess that's the role of translation from Arabic to English without considering that there are other ways of expressing ideas in the second language which is English in that matter. That could be overcame by increasing the input' English listening and reading' so that learners will not make those mistakes again.
That's my understanding i could be wrong. What do you think?
