listening skill

you get your students to listen to any kind of listening
and start with easy one to know their level
and you can discuss with them what do they understand or
give some questions depend on the listening

or there is another way I used to have when I studied with an American teacher
every week we listen to a chapter from a stroy
then once she asked to summarize or do the questions that she gave

and be sure if your students are big enough get them to take note during listening
because it is so important

Reading skill

as many say get them to read silent reading then start to ask what is the new word
and if they know their meaning and how they should be pronounced
also it is a good idea if you ask them the new word is
what v or, adj , n. adv
and if it is a verb give them the noun and the adj

then start to discuss the whole passage with them

after ask them to read loudly to see their pronunciation


wirtiing skill

first you should explain how to write a paragraph
topic sentec and supporting ideas
and do not make the topic so general not so specific


Grammer

the first thing is to explain
for example if you are going to explain a tense
you should explain when it should be used
and give the structure
start to ask them to give examples

all the explanation is for adult studetns not children

if your students are children
when explain the grammar do not use the same
way as the adult
for children repeatation is
the best way
and use many flashcards or tools make them
understand the lessons
