There is no specific time for that . It all depends on
the course , the learner , the teaching method and motivation . Good luck for you

what's the good teaching method

it means the way you are following in your learning. For example some students learn English by themselves without a teacher so that method wouldn't be as effective as learning in a group with English native teacher. The methods like learning via games or learning by chatting and talking with English speaker.

I hope its clear .
Best of luck.

Exactly as M.o_o.N says , and it depends on your desire to learn more and I advise you to learn Grammar first and every thing will be easy after that ..

well about me I believe that if you mix the linguistics competences with communicative competences

for sure, you'll find the best result ever

coz if you learn something or any idea wherever it was , in

school or from anyone, you must practice it whether in writing or speaking

it's better to interact with people and apply what ever you have

taken and communicate with them in order to learn in a good method

that's my opinion and it's up to you

In addition to the above, you need to concentrate on listening and pronunciation

my best wishes

If you're in the field , you will not master it unless working very hard not less than ten years

If you're a didecated learner , it may take not more than two years
