1.A wet blanket=it is one who spoils the fun.
2.Get to the point(Come to the point)=to start talking about the thing that is most important.
3.On the loose=not to be controlled or supervised by anyone and free to behave however.
4.Chances are slim=not possible to achieve.
5.Call it a day=to stop what you're doing for that day.
6.It rings a bell=it reminds you of something else, but you cannot remember exactly what it is.
7.Don't get me wrong=don't misunderstand what I'm doing or saying, or why I'm doing or saying it.
8.Don't throw out the baby with the bath water=don't throw out good stuff with the bad stuff.
9...like taking candy from a baby=...very easy(=It's a piece of cake)
10.Out of the question=completely impossible or unacceptable.
11.To be broke=have no money.
12.To go broke=lose money and be unable to continue in business or to pay the debts.
