Peace upon you all, good people of this Forum

I'm a new member here..
and I'd love to share this with you
its a poem I wrote back in 2007 when things were kinda messy and life wasn't all too kind to me
its kinda blue as you'll notice

Beneath the window


On a small bed


In a darkened room


Laid a kid


Staring at the glowing moon

Thinking


Of what might he be


In a future


He can not now see


With a smile


He rolled in his bed and faced the wall


Dreaming


Though he might be so young and small


Of better days


In a better place


Full of hopes


Full of dreams


He closed his eyes


And he slept in peace
