Peace be upon you
{شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ الَّذِيَ أُنزِلَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنُ هُدًى لِّلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَاتٍ مِّنَ الْهُدَى وَالْفُرْقَانِ فَمَن شَهِدَ مِنكُمُ الشَّهْرَ فَلْيَصُمْهُ}

Heart of an angel

My little angel sister
First, allow me to praise the idea and topic design
You have a beautiful taste dearest Masa' Allah

Second, I wanted from the very bottom of my heart
to congratulate every member in our forum
for the holy month of Ramadan. I'm happy to do so
May you won't understand me but last year I wasn't here
to celebrate it with every one

Ramadan for me is full of sweet and nostglic memories
When I was still a child, I used to wait quietly to hear the
sound of the canon. the one who could hear its sound is the lukiest^^
We used to have a big family breakfast and after finishing it
all the women in the family and the young ones - me and the rest of the children- would help in cleaning and teddying everything^^
It was really fun to do so.
One of my cousins who've memorized the holy qura'an
used to lead us in praying Isha' & Taraweeh prayer
I love those days so much
That's what I have for now
Thanks ANGEL for your kindinvitation
I really and truelly appreciate it sister

Salam Alaikum eeveryone
First things first,I would like to felicitate on the coming of Ramdan.Ramdan has always been a sacred month for muslims from all walks of life .I would like to share with you a few things that I like to do during this month.I usually go and break my fast in great the mosques among muslims brothers. It's a great feeling to be around them and share our dishes together. After that,I go with my friends to take a walk at the pedestrian zone as it's something of ritual to me during Ramdan.
Finally,I would like to say that I'm very zealous that Ramdan is just around the corner.I also pray that allah swt will accept our fasting.

Profuse thanks to you,Heart of an angel for your lovely topic

Now , it’s the middle of Ramadan

O' Allah accept our good deeds in the past days of Ramadan

and "with your will and mercy" 0

help us to do better in the rest of our sacred month

Concerning the topic;

every one of us should have memories regarding Ramadan

whether they were good or sad

I will mention one, 0

but I'm afraid I don’t remember it well as it happened long time ago.

When we were just little kids,

we "I and my brothers" were not allowed to eat with the olds

when it was breakfast time; as we weren’t fasting those days. 0

So one should do something before the food get finished.

Unfortunately; it was me in one bad evening; 0

I sneaked to the kitchen to get any remaining Ramadan food.

I found little, got some and hurried toward the door as fast as I could,

but unfortunately I slipped on the floor as it was raining.

The worst thing was that pot I was carrying;

it hit the door so hard ;;;; 0

and made a sound that my father hurried out to see what happened,

I was still laying to the floor

and as I raised my head and looked up;;; >> 0

my father was standing just right to my head…:smile (84):0

You can imagine what happened next >>>>

Heart Of An Angel; you're doing a huge work here,

a thing that make you so unique

Be always up >>>> 0

all respect

“O you who believe! Fasting has been prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may become from the pious.”
The objective of fasting is not that one merely abstain from the material and physical things which break one’s fast, but rather, one must also refrain from those intangible things which wipe [the reward] of one’s fast, such as lying, backbiting, deception, false talk, and other offensive behavior.

“Whoever does not refrain from false speech and deeds, Allah had no need for him to leave his food and drink.” (Bukhari)
There are many reasons and great wisdoms why the Siyaam has been prescribed. From them may be the following:
1) It is spiritual exercise for the believer, for his soul is making jihad45 against his wants and desires
2) Keeping the Muslim’s soul above all offensive speech and deeds. The Prophet () said:
“When one of you is fasting, he should not speak evil, nor should he yell and shout, and if someone were to curse or fight him, let him say, ‘Indeed I am a fasting person.’ ” (Bukhari)
3) Through fasting, one realizes how his needy brothers feel, and this encourages him to fulfill their rights, ask about their welfare, and look into their needs.
