Saudi Women as Cashier
women's jobs in Saudi Arabia are limited and restricted by many conditions . They can be teachers ,doctors , nurses, seamstress or cosmetologists . Recently , a new decision allows women to work as cashier in many markets to count money such as Panda supermarkets and the supermarket chain Marhaba . They have to work about 12 hours a day with a salary about 1000 -3000 . Although many people think that this job is helpful in solving unemployment among women and providing a help for poor people, it contradicts our religion instructions ,affects their relations with their families and increases the average of unmarried women in the society .
Working in this career opposes the main rule of Islam regarding women's job that women must not work with men in the same place in order to save them and to protect society from corruption . However , women in this job need to talk and exchange items with men , so illegal relationships might be established among them which might lead to forbidden practices such as fornication and a lot of foundlings will be born that means the whole society will be affected . It may be true that women will wear the veil ,and they will not contact with men ,but we know that devil runs in our blood and Allah warns us from his steps . Regarding this issue , the Saudi Committee on Scholarly Work and Ifta'a bars women from this work .
It also affects women's relations with their families especially the married ones . They have to work half of their day out .They return back tired and need about 8 hours for sleeping ,so they do not have enough time for doing their household chores such as cooking and cleaning . They can not also set with their husbands and help their children in their studying . They will be delinquent .This will lead to many problems between them and their husbands which lead to the increase of divorce average.
