ماهو الفرق بين gifted and talented

المعنى للكلمتين متقارب ولكن الاستخدام مختلف – انظر الى الشرح التالى

talented

having a natural ability to do sth well, especially sth connected with art, music

literature, drama or sport

We're looking for talented young designers to join our team.

The kids at this school are all exceptionally talented in some way.


gifted

having a lot of natural ability or intelligence

She goes to a school for gifted children.

He's an extremely gifted young player.

She's especially gifted at art.

NOTE TALENTED OR Gifted
who are talented are usually good at a particular thing such as music or sport. People who are gifted may be good at a particular thing or just very intelligent. You can be academically gifted but NOT : academically talented . Gifted is often used about children or young people because you do not need to have a lot of experience in sth to be gifted at it.

Another explanation

Gifted is used in literary context to talk about people's ability
We say a gift for drawing , wring , languages , teaching , humor ….etc
Talented is used in spoken English for business skills
A talent for computing , leadership , figures .
