How To complete the QURAN in Ramadan:
The Qur'an has 600 pages approx.. If you divide it on 30 days, that's 20 pages a day. You see, that's difficult to do right? But, if you divide it on the 5 prayers a day, it gets easier:
*If you read 4 pages after every salah in ramadan, then you've completed the Qur'an.
*If you want to complete the Qur'an twice, you read 4 pages before and after every salah.*
Imagine if you forward this message, how many people will benefit and complete the Qur'an. And it gets even better, because you would get the reward for them finding it easier to complete. InshaAllah. Jazak Allah khair. Dua's (nassim)

Rubashov heard the sound of several people marching down the corridor in step. His first thought was: now the beating-up will start. He stopped in the middle of the cell, listening, his chin pushed forward. The marching steps came to a halt before one of the neighboring cells, a low command was heard, the keys jangled. Then there was silence.
Rubashov stood stiffly between the bed and the bucket, held his breath, and waited for the first scream. He remembered that the first scream, in which terror still predominated over physical pain, was usually the worst; what followed was already more bearable, one got used to it and after a time one could even draw conclusions on the method of torture from the tone and rhythm of the screams. Towards the end, most people behaved in the same way, however different they were in temperament and voice: the screams became weaker, changed over into whining and choking. Usually the door would slam soon after. The keys would jangle again; and the first scream of the next victim often came even before they had touched him, at the mere sight of the men in the doorway.
Rubashov stood in the middle of his cell and waited for the first scream. He rubbed his glasses on his sleeve and said to himself that he would not scream this time either, whatever happened to him. He repeated this sentence as if praying with a rosary. He stood and waited; the scream still did not come. Then he heard a faint clanging, a voice murmured something, the cell-door slammed. The footsteps moved to the next cell.

RAMADAN
The moon that once was full, ripe and golden,
Wasted away, thin as the rind of a melon,
Like those poor whom sudden ill fortune
Has wasted away like a waning moon.
Like the generous who leave behind
All that was selfish and unkind,
The moon comes out of the tent of the night
And finds its way with a lamp of light.
The lamp of the moon is relit
And the hungry and thirsty
In the desert of the city
Make a feast to welcome it.

“A Mother in Mannville” is a touching, honest literary work that centers on two characters: the narrator, and a boy named Jerry. Through her vivid descriptions of both characters, in addition to the simple, yet revealing dialogue, Rawlings creates a story rich in characterization.
**************
A Mother in Mannville
by Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings
Summary Of The Story
The story takes place in a cottage maintained by an orphanage in the Carolina mountains. The narrator, presumably a woman, has come to the cottage seeking a quiet place to write. She meets Jerry, a twelve-year-old who has been at the orphanage since he was four; Jerry has been sent to help perform odd jobs for her. She quickly discovers Jerry is not only quite strong for his size and age, but is also ambitious and kind. As the story progresses and the two characters grow closer, Jerry reveals that he has a mother in Mannville, a neighboring town. He tells the narrator that his mother sends him gifts, and the narrator is bewildered that a mother would willingly give up her child.
Before leaving, the narrator stops at the orphanage to say goodbye to Jerry, and to leave money for the headmistress to purchase gifts for Jerry on holidays and birthdays. It is then that Rawlings ends her story with a dose of irony: Jerry has not been receiving gifts from his mother in Mannville; in fact, Jerry does not have a mother.

This is a story worth sharing !!!
This about Mr. Zavere Poonawala who is a well-known Parsee industrialist in Pune, India. He had this driver named Ganga Datt with him for the last 30 years on his limousine, which was originally owned by Acharya Rajneesh.
.
Ganga Datt passed away recently and at that time Mr. Poonawala was in Mumbai for some important work. As soon as he heard the news, he canceled all his meetings, requested the driver’s family to await him for the cremation and came back to Pune immediately by a helicopter.
.
On reaching Pune, he asked the limo to be decorated with flowers as he wished Ganga Datt should be taken in the same car which he himself had driven since the beginning. When Ganga Datt’s family agreed to his wishes, he himself drove Ganga Datt from his home up to the ghat on his last journey.
.
When asked about it, Mr. Poonawala replied that Ganga Datt had served him day and night, and he could at least do this being eternally grateful to him. He further added that Ganga Datt rose up from poverty and educated both his children very well. His daughter is a Chartered accountant and that is so commendable.
.
His comment in the end, is the essence of a successful life in all aspects:
“Everybody earns money which is nothing unusual in that, but we should always be grateful to those people who contribute to our success. This is the belief, we have been brought up with, which made me do, what I did”.
An inspiring example of humility…….
Even a big pot full of water will b emptied
By a small hole,
In the same way,
A little anger or ego will burn up
The nobility of GOOD HEART..

and darkness shrouded the whole place
