In times of growing fear, in violence's full rein,
the truth is pushed aside, while innocence is slain.

The serpent's grip is tightened, as evil takes it's toll,
the journey lies uphill, for the wandering, weary, soul.

Sorrow is well known, from generations of the past,
the future is uncertain, yet sure to feel the wrath.

But through this darkened tunnel, a light is up ahead,
past the many wars, and tears that aren't yet shed.

A pact that has been made, a promised land will be,
the good shall overcome, the evil will recede[/GLOW][/GRADE]
