اهلين اختي المسأله بسيطه بس تبغا شويه تركيز
اولا:
How is the verb tense "could" used?
The English verb "could" is used as both an auxiliary verb and a modal verb? Could is almost always used with a main verb tenes.
* Could is used as the past tense of "can".
* Could is used to is used to request something in the present tense.
* Usually when could is used in the present tense, it is used to ask a question.
Examples:
* Could the girls come with me to the store?
* I could not go to the moves last night, I had to study.
* We couldn't help you clean the house.

بالنسبه للمثال هذا
^
^
she could be sick...
it is in the present (why)
because it is not the sure answer
يعني احنا استخدمنا الفعل could في الماضي لان الجمله احتماليه ولما نتكلم عن الاحمالات في
الزمن المضارع الفعل يكون بالماضي ..اوضح اكثر...مثلا انا اقول انا لو كنت مكانك كان ممكن سويت كذا....مع اني اتكلم بالوقت الحالي المضارع
.................................................. .......
ثانيا: must
الماضي تبعها هوا had to
مثلا امثله:
in the prsent: i must to go to school today because i have exams
in the past: i had to to school yesterday because i had exams
كان علي ان اذهب الي المدرسه بالامس لانه كان لدي اختبارات
.................
ثالثا:must+have+past participle
When we use must have and the past participle (must have phoned), we are making a deduction about something that has happened. We are saying, ‘I feel sure that this is the case’:
If your keys aren’t in your pocket, you must have left them in the house.

اذا لم تكن مفاتيحك ليست معك فربما تركتها في المنزل
يعني لما تستخدمي الخيال او الاحتمال عن شىء في الماضي حصل تبعي هذه القاعده
..........
في النهايه الزبده من هذا الكلام كله تستخدمي modal verbs على حسب الجمله سواء كانت
بالماضي او المستقبل او الاحتمالات وكل حاله لها قاعده معينه بس اعرفي ان وظايفها كثير ماهي محصوره على اللي ذكرنا
