Spoonerisms


Spoonerisms are a symptom sometimes mentioned in association with "Cluttering." The Fun with Words website defines Spoonerisms as "phrases, sentences, or words in language with sounds swapped. Usually this is done by accident, particularly if you're speaking fast." Named after Bishop Spooner, whose speech was apparently laced with such slips of the tongue, examples of Spoonerisms include:


The Lord is a loving Shephard -- The Lord is a shoving leopard


You missed my history lecture -- You hissed my mystery lecture


Cozy little nook -- Nosey little crook


Is the Dean busy? -- Is the bean dizzy?

let me ask : Why slips happening ?


Well , the book refers this to the following three different situations

1- A control or normal situation
No attention and No warning .

2- Where subjects might receive a small electrical shock at any moment .
Under attention and warning

3- Where they performed the task in a state of slight sexual arousal
Create sexual arousal

شكرا على الموضوع المهم في اللغويات....

بس اخوي انت ذكرت نقطه واحده في "زلة اللسان" مع انو هناك اكثر من نوع

والسبب الرئيسي لكل انواع :زلات اللسان" هو التفكير للامام "thinking ahead"

يعني تقول كلمه وانت تفكر بالكلمه اللي بعدها

وقد تصير على مستوى الحروف او الكلمات او الجمل....

واحد انواعها اللي تصيير بتغيير كلمه كامله

متل هالجمله

i lost my sesame street = instead of saying = i lost my sesame oil

وسبب حدوث هالزله انو المتحدث كان يفكر بالمسلسل الشهير افتح يا سمسم لما قال هالجلمه

في اكثر من نوع وسبب لحدوث زلات اللسان ولا نحدد بعدد معين ,,
ولكني لم اقل انه سبب واحد بل ذكرت ثلاثة اسباب كأمثلة من الكتاب الذي درسناه تلك الأيام وهي :
