Word Differences

Let's discuss together this topic to arise the bakground of our vocabulary.
Any way let's start. Today we are going to start with:

What's the differnce?

iI find this and want learn more from ur opinion

I hear to the concert every Monday on the radio and I imagine I am there listening to it in person.

If you hear something it is because you have ears and are not deaf

If you listen TO something then you are paying particular attention to what you can hear

The construction hear to is not possible. If you hear a concert, it is because you are near the sound of the music but you are not there in person and not paying attention to it in detail

The differnece in brief is :
Listen --------- with paying attention like : listening to the news in the radio
Hear --------- with no attention like : walking in a market hearing people talking

SPEAK is often used for one-way communication and for exchanges in more serious or formal situations.

Speak is the usual word to refer to knowledge and use of languages.

There is not very much difference between speak and talk.

TALK is the more usual word to refer to conversational exchanges and informal communication.

Here are some sample sentences
I'm going to speak to the entire students
Mona can speak French fluently in addition to English

Here are two additional sample sentences, these intended to show how talk may be used in everyday English:

Mona and I talked about Saudi culture

Speak -------------- one way of comunication ( used in formal situations)
Talk ----------------- conversational exchanges , two or more ways , (used in informal situations)

A home can be anywhere you live -- your home may be a mobile home, or a motor home, or an igloo.
You can call an apartment your home. As they say, "Home is where the heart is."


But a house is a physical structure with walls and a roof and a door
. An apartment would not be considered your "house"

You're right and you can say also say my home town is ........ and Saudia Arabia is my home
and as you said "no palce like home "etc.

So in breif
Home :-----------is more general and can refer to many things as you said

House : ----------is more specafic wich means the place where you live in (physical structure buliding) niot apartment.

Wake up means stop sleeping >> like when you tell some one sleeping to wake up, you're telling him to stop sleeping

Get up > means getting up and out of bed >> you don't just want him to wake up you want him to get out of bed

Get up has an action like arise or stand up

Now regarding your inquiry about the difference between

Aim........ Goal



I think they are both objects of desire or intent

But 'aim' is to have a desire for something that goes beyond your present capacity for attainment

While

Goal is to have the same desire for something but with an intention to gain it and fulfill it to the end no matter what happens

Spicy = this refers to food that has lots of spices and sesasonings

i think the difference is in grammar
e.g. (1
Mary has a job.
this explains a fact that Mary does have a job .Everyday she goes to work.
e.g. (2
Mary has got a job
this explains that Mary has got the job recently
while a time before she didnt have one
this is my English background and hope i got the point
