as for me
I started learning english at School of course and I took 2 English courses to improve my listening and speaking skills
after that I joined English major at a College thought It wasn't that much effective that's why I almost killed my self learning individually , finding new vocabularies , reading short stories , joining online wesites like this wonderful one..In adition to chatting with english speakers

to be honest I learned the half of English langugae by myself , the other half Internet taught me all about it
!
now I'm teaching for a year and a half
and I'm still learning

I statred when I was at school

I used to read short stories and JOKES in English

plus watching English movies

I rememberthat I used to retell the movies in my own words

just to improve myself

I didn't join any English courses

I chose English as a major at college

and I was a hard worker ... LoL

after graduation, I immediately got a job where I had to communicate with non Arabic speakers

I admit that being among those English speakers had strenghtened my English

I learned so much when I was working with them

I started learn english since 3 years approximatly but now I become better than in last year because now I love my teacher to she a friendly,very nice and she love me too and she help me to learn english

I love English when I was younger I learn more enlish by my self without help fron any body .today Iwant o learn more ENGLISH .BUTabeg problem is practice English mean where Iuse English andwhen we cannot use English in our life Iwant practice English Icannot speak agood Icant use grammar agood without practice .

I HAVE BEEN LEARNING eNGLISH SINCE I WAS IN THE 2ND ELEMENTARY GRADE. MY UNCLE, WHO IS A TEACHER OF eNGLISH , STARTED TEACINH ME AT THAT TIME. I LOVED THIS LANGUAGE. SOMETIMES, I USED TO CREAT EXCUSES TO LEAVE MY SCHOOL AND GO WITH MY UNCLE TO HIS.

FRANKLY, I DIDN'T PLAN TO ATTEND COLLEGE TO STUDY ENGLISH, BUT IT WAS WHAT ALLAH WANTED FOR ME. NOW, THIS IS MY 14TH YEAR IN THE FIELD OF TEACHING ENGLISH. I HAVE TAUGHT IT IN BOTH SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES AS A PART TIME INSTRUCTOR. I HOPE THAT I MOVE TO COLLEGE TO BE A FULL TIME INSTRUCTOR

ok now I am 1st year secondary .. my English I think is advanced

I didn't join with any courses but you will ask me about how can u speak

english fluently.. cus I love this language very much and now I improve my

english as possible ,, my teachers say: you are really fantastic and there is

no girl here as you ..

about me , i like this language since i was a child ...... and decided to study hard in order to join the English major in the University .....

my big Brother helped me alot and encouraged me to study and learn English >>> his English is perfect mash'a ullah , he is accountant ... and he developed his languge by himself ...... thro reading and communicating with the native speakers .....

now i'm a teacher ...... i practice my languge there with my colleagues and here with the members of Saudi English .....

also, always i go with my mother 2 the hospital cuz she is sick ( may God cures her ) ...... and i try to get the chance and practice my language with the nurses and doctors there ......

that's a good subject , thanx for bring this one up

about myself ,, my dad ( God bless him )) just had got me to learn english at a privet school evey year so that i could learn

however , it didn't improve so much becasue i didn't really practice

and way when i grudatie from high school i study in a university for a year and i study english though but it was easy for me

after a year i got a scholership to AMERICA and i have been here more then 2 years and i always try to speak in ENGLIGH and alhamdllah i improved alot but still wanna be better then that

when I watch film I don't read the translation below cuz i wanna to improve my

language as possible .. my sister always bring to me any english books

which is useful for me

I'm always try to read any thing in english ,, and if i go to any place

I don't speak arabic with the foreign workers

that it is !!

u'll laugh when i tell u how i did that

when i was 5 or so.....i used to watch cartoons and movies.....i started imitating them...not knowing what im saying

but later i realized that the words i used to say are " what u call it???"...inappropriate

believe me i learned that the hard way

the language had stuck in my mind

i got used to it

then i specialized in it
