Hi, everyone! This is a great topic. As an English teacher, I lke to encourage my students to use the English language all the time. I try to use as many fun mothods as I can to make my lessons enjoyable. Nowadays, we have so many facilities that teachers should use to attract the attention of the students like power point presentations and data shows. Further more, I never use the Arabic language in my classes. By the way, if you want to improve your English language, a very easy way is to choose a movie that you would not get tired of. Get the tape or the CD of that movie and watch as many times as you can. Consentrate on the language the actors use and try to use their speeches and words. You can even act out some of the scenes. Your language will gradually become better.

Hello, everyone!
What you've all said about learning the language in our country is very interesting.
I'm interested in knowing your ideas because I'm a teacher and I'm always looking for new methods to help my students improve their language without hating it. I never use the Arabic language in my classes and I believe so much in learning through fun.
By the way, there's a way that I mentioned to my students to help them with their spoken language and their pronounciation. I tried it myself and it was very useful:
Choose a movie that you really like and wouldnt get tired of watching. Get the recording of this movie (a vedio or a CD) and watch for as much as you can. Try to you the edioms and speeches that the actors use. You can even act out some scenes from the movie (it will help even if you do it alone in your room).
You will find that your language is gradually improving.
