this is my latest poem.....hope u like it

Feeling lost for so long
Time seemed an endless song

Sad, mournful, tedious song
Till reality hit me strong

I've always wished you'd be mine
Waiting for the slightest sign

Just a smile and I'd be fine
The gloomy nights start to shine

And yet, you're far
Distant like a star

Do you hear my trembling voice!!
Or did I make an awful choice??

forgive me, for now I know
Your role was just a show

You never loved me, not even close
Playing games with no remorse

Is that your way to punish me?!!
For giving you the best in me?!!

Caring less for my despair
With your joy, you never share




Lived my life in loneliness
Played my part of foolishness

Growing pain inside my soul
bitter feelings began to crawl

till reality hit me strong
you're not the place where I belong

your heart has been an icy cave
from witch my self I must save

loving you was fake mistake
now it's time to take a break

I've been cuffed for so long
Trapped in your hurtful song

Now I'm glad I found me
Set free, with dignity

No more chains, or misery
Since you are history

Sea of Emotions

Lost for so long in a deep sea of feeling
Can't get control of the thoughts, that keep reeling

Direction- unknown; where's it all heading
Utter confusion and panic are spreading

Waves start to swell and the boat begins leaking
and, yet, still no sign of the land she is seeking

Horror takes over with no hope in sight
what started as worry, turns into shear fright

Pictures of lives past flash into her vision
with little time left, she makes her decision

She whispered a prayer.. then dove off the side
and started to swim, along with the tide

Hours past by with no sight of firm ground
She fought for her life, with hopes she'd be found

Several years later, her story's still told
A heart full of love that had sadly, turned cold

When the waves crash to shore, you may still hear her cries
for the body may perish... but the soul never dies

I like writing in Arabic since I was 13

and I started writing in English when I was in college

believe me...I never lie about my writings...and I respect my self above all:o


but since u think that it might not be mine....am glad and proud..cause it means only one thing...that it's soooo good
