i have this question and i did not find the answer because nothing in my mind and i hope that you maybe you help me

the doctor give us a long an assignment
and that was the last question when i came to answer it i could not beacuse i was so tired

As afuture schoolmistress of English languge , Do you think that the study of literature is of any use to you? Give reasons to support your answer

so please help me with it

as an English teacher I would give you this answer

English literature is important even for teaching in Saudi schools . first of all , it helps the student who is about to be a teacher to improve her English . The study of literature allows people to develop new ideas and ethical standpoints, and can help individuals to present themselves as educated members of society. Studying literature can be an enriching, eye-opening experience. also , Reading new words and new phrases can increase the teacher's ability to send the messages he want his students to understand , and it can increase the teacher's vocabulary .

In some courses like the third grade of intermediate school , there are a whole unit about literature , the teacher is supposed to give the students information about English literature and discuss some stories and give them the differences between the types of novels.

In fact , English literature is as important as English language . it is a great part of it and the teacher will be able to deal with her students in a great way be using her imagination that the literature studying gave her . she can share them stories , encourage her students to read and to know the definitions of the stories titles . show them that English poems are fun and it can be sung . make competitions in reading short stories or poems or even try writing one.
